We had more than 1000 people participate in the Nehemiah Action with at least 985 at World’s Fair Park Amphitheater and others tuning in via Facebook Live. We secured commitments to move us forward in all three of our campaigns including from Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon, District Attorney General Charme Allen, both candidates for Knox County Sheriff, Superintendent Bob Thomas, and Knoxville Area Transit Director Isaac Thorne! Now, we dig in and get to work on the follow-up with our officials to stop the gun violence in our community; to end harsh and unfair discipline in our schools; and to create public transit that gets people to work so they can care for their families.
