Annual Assembly Sets 2026 Agenda

360 individuals participated in Justice Knox’s recent Annual Assembly, a yearly gathering of network members across our congregations. At this year’s assembly, network members voted to address housing and homelessness in our community. We also welcomed 4 new member congregations: Crossings Church, Fern Street Missionary Baptist Church, New Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and Wallace Chapel AME Zion Church. We heard an encouraging report about our progress in bringing micro-transit to Knoxville, and we also heard from Erin Read, Director of the Knoxville-Knox County Office of Housing Stability, on recent progress in implementing the strategic plan to reduce homelessness. We then welcomed our incoming officers.
